Enabling students to make sound career decisions

A young person leaving school today will have multiple job and career changes throughout their lifetime either through their own choice or because of circumstances outside their control. It has been suggested that half of the jobs that will be available in ten years time are unknown at present.

It can be confusing and daunting for young people facing this situation. I can enable students from Year 11 onwards to choose a course which will not only give them a wide range of career choices at various stages in their future but will also give them the tools for effective career planning.

Students need to ensure that the subjects chosen at School and the courses at University provide them with the ability to be flexible and adapt to expected and unexpected changes. I can help them to identify their career related areas of interest and guide them through the decision making process to choose these subjects and courses.
